Course Overview
Joyful Drumming for Beginners with Adam Bond is the perfect course for anybody who is interested in learning to play the drums.
The course assumes that you have no prior experience on the drums, meaning that concepts are broken down slowly and clearly in a way you can easily grasp.
The course contains 4 x Video Lessons, 3 x Live Lessons, a Practice Pad and a Pair of Sticks. Everything you need to experience the joys of drumming whilst at home.
The 7-Part Course includes:
1 - Recorded Video 1 > Intro, Basic Coordination, Hand Technique, Using Rebound, Basic Rudiments, Rudiment Challenge (40 minutes).
2 - Recorded Video 2 > Playing to a Metronome, Rudiments Continues, Reading 101, Playing to Music, Reading Challenge One - to be performed in the live lesson (40 minutes).
3 - Live Video Lesson 1 > Intro with Student, Chat, Overview of Content so far, Rudiments Basics, Challenge One (45 minutes).
4 - Recorded Video 3 > Air Drumming 101 > Introducing Grooves and Fills using Pad and Right Foot. Reading Exercises, Playing to Music, Challenge Two - Play to your favourite song (40 minutes).
5 - Live Video Lesson 2 > Playing Rudiment Challenge, Using Grooves with Music, Drum Fills, Practical Reading Level Two > Eighth & Sixteenth Notes. Q&A. (45 minutes).
6 - Recorded Video 4 > Course Review, 8th Note Triplet Grooves and Fills, Musical Examples, 16th Note Grooves (40 minutes).
7 – Live Video Lesson 3 > Rudiments review, Q&A workshop, guide to next optional next steps (30 minutes)
